Dr Fikre has been with Hatch since 2013, joining as a Breeding Officer at EthioChicken. Through his relentless commitment, he became the National Production Director, overseeing all DOC and Feed sites, which produced over 35m DOCs and 50,000 tons of feed per year. Not only has he delivered excellent results, he has built a strong production team of over 1000+ staff across 13 sites. Starting in July 2025, he stepped up as Managing Director of Uganda and has done an excellent job guiding an already strong team to achieve more success.
